SelenaCore Update: Advanced TTS Queue Management and Intelligent Audio Ducking

In our latest update to SelenaCore, we are significantly refining the voice interaction experience. The primary focus of this release is the introduction of a robust TTS Speech Queue and Audio Ducking capabilities, ensuring that system communications are both orderly and clearly audible.

Intelligent Voice Orchestration

With the implementation of 0e16c10, SelenaCore now features a sophisticated speech queue. This allows the system to handle multiple Text-to-Speech (TTS) requests sequentially, preventing audio overlaps and ensuring no notification is lost. Complementing this is the new Audio Ducking logic: the system will automatically lower the volume of active media players when the voice engine is speaking, providing a professional and seamless user experience similar to high-end smart speakers.

Testing and Stability

On the technical side, we have improved the reliability of our CI/CD pipelines. Commit 68ec4de addresses an issue in the testing suite by redirecting the notification_router configuration to the /tmp directory. This ensures that automated tests do not interfere with local configuration files and have the necessary write permissions in restricted environments.

These updates further solidify SelenaCore's position as a powerful, locally-hosted frontend for smart environments. For more details on configuring voice outputs, please refer to our documentation.
